In Closing My Eyes

I can see you.
When I open them again,
You are there too.
I long for the time
When I can actually say
These words of my heart.
I so long for that day.
At long last, it is my hope
To say how much I love you
When I know in my heart
Your love is so true.
When I close my eyes
It is you whom I see
Imagine my surprise
