The Dancer as Pointillist by Rachel Bennettreprimanded remains of atrophied limbs
too lazy or lame to respond readily,
that wayward eye ashamed of something,
because you see with one eye
and you dance with one leg,
and the chiasmus of your chiaroscuro
is in perfectly syllabic rondo form
because you leap and land with the same limb.
...and all this with twice the grace
of umbrella-ed noblewomen
on a Sunday afternoon. 02/07/2010 Author's Note: A halfway nod to Seurat, as well. =)
