I am your Wave you are My Shore

by James Zealy

In visions of volatility
When passions collide
With directionless splendor

I am at times love lost
Left away from your firmity
When anger swims me

Even when I should stay
In our ocean
Away from your shore

I am compelled
To swim land parallel
Fighting the tug of tows

Until at last I am splashing
In front of you
Waves lapping

As my wave caresses
The toe of your shore
And I feel at home at last

This poem says so much and then yet so more..and the struggle is just ever so worth it as much as it isn't. Endearing indeed! thank you
