Lovely Loves That mean Nothing

by Christopher Shin

Tell me those lies.
About how you swear
that the stars
never burned so bright.

The glimmer of your
hope holds no bounds.
I'll kiss the moments,
and hold your hand.

But in it all
the time you ask
is only countless
minutes that
I can not give.

You say you love
the honesty,
and the purity
of all emotions.

Tragically I can
only be the arm
that you shades
can only mend.

The evolution of
a space that
you want for now.
