Punctuation Constellation by Charlie Morgan Punctuation Constellation
ellipsises ...
so useful ...
so sufficient ...
so connecting ...
but ...
a period. so final with a thought ...
a comma, so awaiting conjunctions ...
a semi-colon; so needing balance ...
a colon: so expecting an ordered list ...
yet ...
ellipsises ...
so continuing ...
with our umbilical existence ...
while one day segues to another ...
using dawn’s door of night’s dark ...
as smiling sun rays shock morn’s gray ...
letting loose their photon glow ...
panting after an eight minute trek ...
and ...
serves the writer to live again ...
and again ...
and still again ...
all this done with its one face of many lives ...

| Posted by Therese Elaine on 02/05/10 at 04:42 PM I'm trying to forgive Ken his pun...which I can do since I am guilty of making them myself! I love this Charlie -and as you can probably tell, I am very fond of the ellipsis...probably because I dislike finality unless...well, I'm being very final!!! |
