Sunset View Nursing Home(The Future Home Of Classic Rock) by Richard DavisLoud music coming from the common room,
someone turned the music up to ten,
Hendrix sounding like a sonic boom,
a weary voice yells turn it down again.
Joe is up and out of his rocking chair,
He's too much of a rocker to just sit there.
he's playing air guitar with his cane,
wobbling back and forth feeling no pain.
Here comes Miss Huggins shuffling by,
take a closer look at her eyes,
Could it be that she is high?
She wears a toothless grin and cries,
"Excuse me while I kiss the sky!"
There is no reason to berate and scold,
A new generation has grown old.
They're not really out of control,
they just love their rock and roll.
