Home Unspoken by Michael DefriesIt is beyond nature's
indescribable fury
that causes separation
and rebound.
We run but cannot hide
for truth seems to leak
from hidden corners to
midnight moans.
In the wild we watch
night come on like dark
the vast space covers us
over blankets of sound.
Sonnets speak words of
timed passion released, in
moments of forgotten lust
as skin touches silk over
caresses of smooth glides
Orbiting motions collecting
like stratosphere funnels
moving our emotions into
precipice.
It's the broken silence
which forgets all, yet the
center in where we exist
is the home unspoken
to which we always
return. 02/01/2010 Posted on 02/01/2010 Copyright © 2025 Michael Defries
