Blue Sun by Alisa Js
on the evening of the second need
the sun cried,
inside the memory
of what used to be,
and I realized
the flash,
was nothing more than
splashes
against the face of time
of another life,
once alive
and now,
reduced to daylight beams, if that
randomly appearing through the varied hues
unexpectedly,
around some melody of an old familiar song
used to love and sing...

Posted by Julie Adams on 03/25/10 at 09:01 AM I must say I love the imagery and ideas presented herein, the title especially, but moreso I adore the flow of your words, how they roll through thought passages on their own path...refreshing and unexpected, I really enjoyed this as my first read of your work...peace n poems to u, jewels xo |
