Age and Wisdom

by Amy Niggel

I found a gray hare today,
right there in my backyard.
For the life of me
I will never understand
why my mother seemed so afraid of them.

Author's Note: Seemed tame enough to me, but then again perhaps that is the problem.

I'm sure you brought home many gray hares for your mother ;) Love how this displays your playfulness and wit.

Ah yes, cute and you never worry until they are your own. And by then it is the future not the past that we worry about.
