The Rock by Rachel BennettYou're just a moral featherweight,
How can you expect to compete
When the earth performs a
Half-nelson backbreaker
,
Jumps from the momentum
exiting tangentially but it
suplexes you before you know,
unless of course you can then
see the letters the ropes spell. 01/18/2010 Author's Note: Poemuary #18.

Posted by Michael Smith on 01/19/10 at 04:29 AM Wow, are we going to see more pop-culture references from you? I find it endearing... I like the double meaning in this, though I'm having a difficult time decrypting it's overall allusion... are we talking about death here, or more about life's hard knocks? |
