Aisles in the Grocery Store

by Joe Cramer

To hold your soft sweet hand
Walking through aisles in the grocery,
This, I hope that you truly understand
Becomes the man that I am to be.
A sweet kiss on New Year's Eve
Holding you so very close to me.
It is in your true heart that I believe
This the one that simply sets me free.
I want to walk with you along your beach
As the sun sets slowly in the west.
Dancing among waves, just out of reach,
I do believe that you know the rest.
To be with you, visiting places that we
Have never been, I so long for this.
Once again, it is your smile that sets me free
Just to hold you tightly again, share a kiss.

Its the everyday happiness of having a muse that makes your writing so overwhelmingly full of life... Live on! ~N

Lovely as usual. Using simple, everyday experiences and turning them to etrenal promises is what makes this peice romantic.

How nice... delight in the small; delight in the usual. Someone's a lucky lady!
