A child’s smile
Enlightens deep sorrow

And when love fails
It appears to snuff
The light of humanity

Placing humility
On the forefront

While in all the moments
They seem to pause
You remain unfazed

And perhaps
The world has changed.


When you awakened
From your fantasy
Hearts fractured

They were whole before
Love was lost

All that you had known
Has faded

As you waited
Your whole life
For love and happiness

Then, when finally
Found you see
That it’s not enough

To cure your life
Yet it is enough
In ideation

When you feel loved
In those precious moments.
All of life
Should be like this.

Then when the moments
Are over
You return
Having felt enriched

And your vast experience
Doesn’t compare
To the state
Without

When you are
In the moment
You are living

But without it
You are dead
And

When the crows pass
Eternity waits.
