The Clouds Pass By

by Michael Defries

The clouds pass by,
I see them,
I've seen them.

They pass, and I wonder,
About how many magnificent,
Shapes and forms, are clearly there.

An intriguing silence,
Comes over me,
And I feel it all around,

Those billowing cotton puffs,
Who are they,
What are they?

Soft, formless, mysterious,
Clouds move ahead,
Clouds move by.

The clouds pass by,
I see them,
I've seen them.

The clouds pass by,
Do you see them,
Have you seen them?

They pass, do you wonder,
About how many magnificent,
Shapes and forms there clearly are?

Silence intriguing me,
Over comes,
Do you feel it all around?

Those clouds,
They are you and I,
Imagining what they are.

Mysterious soft form,
They move ahead,
They move by,

The clouds pass by,
Do you see them,
Have you see them?

Which one do you like?
Which one do you like?
