Driving around smoking cigarettes
With nothing else to do

Memories of yesterday
Turning today to tomorrow
Not looking back
To see about a dropped cigarette

Driving around in the city of Angels

Los Angeles a place well defined
By the myriad landscapes and people
A site worth seeing
Some time in the future

More so than even a place
Just defined by the imaginative mind

Creative search for endeavors
Of self definition
Only a picture painted by the illusionist
Specializing in realizing soft passing

City lights and buildings at night
Shining some jade luminescence

Into what might be a looking glass
Of the future’s past
Influence and people creating areas
Of city being city landscape

Popular modern technical era
And architecture no less

To look at this city, streets sidewalks
Alleys roadways and freeways
Magnificent construction might add
Simplicity to the living impetus

Los Angeles focused on a living
Experience and who could say

Otherwise to this urban paradise
Meaning: my gracious city, a paradise
Structure and following of order and chaos
Of whatever you deem is order and chaos

Generically the happenings of which is
Observance of itself, like water watching the
Reflection of its surface at the bottom of its
Bowl

A city, Los Angeles, giving definition to a soul
Experiencing the life of a lost angel.
