A flower in the market by Keith D AllisonThe elegance of the painting
a wicker horn basket
filled with fruits and vegetables
savored the taste dancing upon the eye's
The water fountains flowing
restful the melody
comfort the movement to the mind
with its gentle touch
The artists
Exquisitely, drew from her palette
with each brushstroke
brought the simplicity of beauty
to fullness of light
There in the market
the hue of green
the tone within the eyes
capturing the scent of life
manner of the flower
the curves
the sweetness of the melons
the behavior of the smile
the world was on fire

of a Italian garden
will the fountains flow
will Cupid dance again
