Like thunder and lightening
Like the flood is unleashed
Washing me its direction
With momentous force

Taking me on a ride that
I have no control

Just allowing me to fight
For life and letting me die
Where it decides

Now it washes me out to sea
To face tidal waves
Of violent and swift nature

Poseidon rules all
In the vast blue space
Cold and hard night falls
I’ve never seen a dark fury
Blue like this before

I wonder will I reach
The bottom depths
Or float buoyantly

Across the river Ganges.

When will I return
Never seems such
A lonely place

Yet such a comfort.
