This day leaves nothing in the balance,
With nothing ventured, nothing gained.
They all turn out the same in this way,
Living in the moment, just a few minutes.
Such solitude, such a peace
Comes from the knowing in this moment.
The day holds no promise, nothing at all
Except the possibility of tomorrow.
