We point at what we want.

by Johnny Crimson

I sat on the spine of that embankment
and watched the day being born,
as every heart attack and pacemaker
stayed up and settled their differences.

And there were gods in attendance
yeah they brought their mighty swords and scrolls.
It was a sight to see when Hercules
held off the giant stones.

As we sat comftorably the night approached
and I found myself gripping your hand.
My messy gloves without the fingers
looked so cool against your skin.

And all this commotion was so welcoming
I really don't know where to begin.
But I'm certain about a few things,
yet a bit is still unclear.

I know I saw you with a unicorn bone
and I definitely heard some kids.
But there is a lot I'm still unsure of
like how any of this should end.

A relationship of mythic proportions! Love the way the title offsets the density of the subject matter~ it all works very well together.
