Savior Of Humanity

by Michael Defries

The simplicity of
Life is so beautiful
When you remark
On untouched values

Humanity cries
Savior to our world
Blessed be the one
Who juxtaposes

Fixed outcomes
Restores principle and
Outlandish paradox
But denies the storm

Bestows wishes
Upon us touch
Wind with your
Mighty

Serenity wand
Waving curiosity
Amongst villagers
Perplexed angst

Bring he who saves us
All into the exposed
Trail of dirt
Path mystery

Wonder will he come
Down from his pedestal
To embark on faith
Healing broken spirits

Hearts fall apart
When seams break old
Fruitful thinking becomes
Habit less fate

Journey south death
To doom awaits heaven
Gates of open wisdom
By choice allows perplexity

Find grace in simple
Means of exchange
Wishful thoughts create
Subtle happiness enduring

Loneliness of barren
Life weathered beyond
Recognition but a blur
From paisley stars

To near kingdom come
Gravity sets in
Holding fear amidst
Blank stares

Wanting not needing
The thirst of revelation
Eternity adjusts its
Perpetual motion.
