dementia by David Hillmother
suspends in sea
conch shell ears,
words lost in spirals
flailing limbs
tangle in sea weed
frantic, her
murky mouth yodels
i strain, distend,
fathom glub, glub,glub
slowly,
the tide pulls her away….

| Posted by V. Blake on 12/19/09 at 02:28 AM Very, very eerie. In an awesome, awesome way. "words lost in spirals" was probably my favorite line, but the whole thing made for a great read. |
