Luc Chevalier by V. Blakelove is inefficient.
if you ask me,
it shouldn't take more than a stanza
and a glass or two of cheap champagne
to get a beautiful woman
out of her clothes.
and the perfect morning after
is one that's even half as silent
as my conscience.
you can say what you want about this poet, baby
but no heart ever broke without acoustic guitar. 12/18/2009 Author's Note: Poem #3 from the pile of memoirs that I stole from the various people who live in my head.

Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 12/18/09 at 08:35 PM I like this, Vince. Seems love is the answer but, while you are waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty good questions. Delighted. Thanks. |
