This year is nearing completion,
Of this I am quite glad.
The harking of 2010,
for this past year was quite sad.

There's still pain to go,
Though a little over a week.
After that, though, who knows,
Just what I might seek.

My plans for this season:
Canceled, suddenly.
I've nobody who wants me, no place to go,
No family or friend, or presents, and no tree.

My heart is quite heavy,
Realizing I've nobody who might care.
If one could be home this holiday,
Wouldn't they'd be already there?
