In my futile attempts to leave my worries elsewhere
It appears that I just don't seem to care.
Though as hard as I am forever fain to try
I am constantly left wondering, asking why.
So, I just let all things just happen, come to pass,
Not worrying about what goes on, the status quo.
Knowing that I am always and forever up to the task,
Of this much I am certain, this much I truly know.
