A polar bear can run about 35mph, and so running away from it is pretty hopeless if you ever find yourself being chased by one. Instead, if you start removing clothing and dropping an article at a time, the bear will stop and investigate every single one, giving you more time to escape. You might die of exposure after that, but it might be worth knowing. Just FYI. (Clever poem, also.)
