Determined to break free from her suffocating past,
Karla decided to forgo her usual Thanksgiving rituals.
Instead of dressing in bib overalls and a cheap Nixon mask
As she habitually did on this day to confuse her cats,
Karla spent the bulk of her Thanksgiving Thursday
In her pantry - yelling at a carton of extra large brown eggs.
