Would I endeavor
to see your face,
would we chance to meet
in another time and place?

Could I then know if we met
with each new beat my heart,
would become whole with your love,
binding us together, never to part?

Could I in that time and place
have been so blessed,
to share, to know and to love
one of our Lords best?

But I do not know what could,
should or might have been.
In that far off time and place
of what, where and when.

I'm only certain the love I have found
in this world that I know.
Has healed my soul and was sent
to make my scarred heart whole.

But if by chance in that time and place
I dream this life as I sleep.
I pray to the God that is of all
let the dream be forever my keep.

For if only in the shadow of a dream
could I have your love as mine.
Then I pray in this dream world to stay,
In another place and time.
