Roses on the Hill

by James Zealy

On the hill roses sown
Tended hands blended groom

Of sweated arched brow spent
Dripping smiles of flowered scent

Encased by reds pinks vermillion
Yellows orange and peace rose catillions

Amid the thorns and dog rose perfume
All at peace coherant bloom

Stands a smiling keeper of hair windblown
Observing ever changing land scape crowns

A smile creases face wide tinged
As a yellow lipstick rose contends

For rain tears and portrait plain
Solace in dreams made sane

For on the hill her roses sown
All at peace coherent bloom
