i didn't write this by Charlie Morgana note to the blind-boy
on the third row;
please pay attention
to the posted signs;
they will tell you all
you need to know;
by the way: no questions.
signs say it all.
those of you with sight,
move up closer;
the rest of you ought:
to leave, go away.
the perfect college class
will be one that has no
students with questions.
questions cost money,
whereas my dumb looks are free. 11/03/2009 Posted on 11/03/2009 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Shannon McEwen on 11/03/09 at 03:05 PM ha, I have plenty of "dumb looks" Charlie! |
| Posted by Joe David on 11/03/09 at 05:09 PM while "dumb looks are free" SOMETIMES you even get what you pay for. and sometimes looking at dumb looks have a price, if you know what i mean and i think you do. brother chaz, i do love this, especially the first stanza which grabbed me right away with its quick unexpected whatever.
it was said about roger miller that he was so spontaneously brilliant that others would follow him around to pick up his throw away lines. i may start following you. (if so, i will have to learn to move quicker to keep up with The Darter) |
