Inertia by Peggie EngMy heart is just hanging in space, no time, rhyme or place.
My heart needs to fall like a shooting star to the cold ground, exploding into shards, each piece taking on a life of its own.
But where does it fall, will the journey be worth it all?
Will it leave my heart an empty shell, and have no worthy place at all?

Author's Note: One's heart is a very fragile thing.
