"Passion Found" by Maude CurtisYears ago I wrote a poem called "Passion Lost"
about a love I had lost so very long ago.
I poured my heart and soul into the words.
wishing somehow to find the love I missed so.
I searched and searched the world to find
the kind of love we had when we were young.
Trying to replace that special feeling
of which the angels had sung.
By chance we found each other again,
both just trying to survive.
A hum-drum life without true love.
Soon we knew our love hadn't died.
So though the technology of late,
began the saga of "Emmi and Pooh".
The love poems resounded "Pathetic.Org"
as the old flame sparked anew.
It's been a slow and trying year
at least according to me.
For I'm not one to be patient
Without him life's been a bitter potpourri.
So at last Pooh and I are together
and it feels we've never been apart.
We've raised some eyebrows and lit some fires.
But we've finally gotten our fresh start.
My true love is no longer lost.
We're the happiest people around.
Fred and Maude are together again
"Passion Lost" is now "Passion Found" 10/27/2009
Author's Note: To all my "Pathetic" friends and readers. Fredrich Mohre and Maude Curtis are together again after being apart for 46 years. Love Rules
