So many times our lives are tied,
It's not bad, not that sad,
Just pleasantly so.
We assemble our friends together
Enjoying this time.
A history that does become
Rich and storied,
Our lives hurried
As we're eventually undone.
Such is this rhyme
As to whether
Or not it all works, we just don't know.
I remain so optimistic, rather glad,
Lord knows I've tried.
