Our Voices

by Clara Mae Gregory

Our voices collided in the world,
Our darkest fears then spoiled.
Shades of love began to swirl
Spinning swift, it formed a whirl.
Fuzzy letters started to shape
And soon began to variegate
Into the silent unformed words
That defied logic and all absurd.
Into Prismatic streams they flowed
Encircling the whorl's vacuous hole.
Their energy flowed Fast and hot,
Purified our hearts of ruinous rot
Glowing brighter and fusing words
Until they're seen and finally heard.
Rising enigma of our vaporous love
Floating lighter than the mist above,
Embraced our union in clouds of bliss
Till nothing of the whorl's eye was left.
