Ramble Ramble Love

by Christopher Shin

The cost of living
is so grave in it all.
The sunset is more
like a crimson,
that reflects the dawn.

You tell me about
how chaotic it is.
You say that
sunlight and daylight
burns no reflection.

I tell you that nothing
is gained from negativity,
but being positive has
no charge.

I grab the last ray,
and you let it
fall apart in the
sudden clouds.

I hug you and tell
you that we are one,
but you slide by
like countless stars.

We let the past flow
by like love and kisses.
Yet we are one in it all,
and I love the small
things gone by.

And we are gone,
and I am you.
And you are me.
But we are all there
is in the blind
night.
