Powerful Love

It can bring you to your knees
It can rip your heart like paper
Then mend it back with ease
It can draw out tears of sadness
And also tears of joy
It can make you smile at someone
Who is trying to annoy
Love is a soothing feeling
that helps us sleep at night
Love makes us grab someone
And hold them very tight
Love has many powers
As I said above
But the most important thing of all
Is to remember
You are loved. 10/16/2009 Author's Note: During my Fall cleaning I ran across an old poetry book of mine. I wrote this when I was about 11. It made me smile. I hope it makes you smile.
