News event by Keith D AllisonLiving a mile or so above sea level
looking at the greenness of the grass
on the last day of summer
covering my tomatoes
as the white flakes float to the ground
this rash of winter
has it stole the fall… away
if the snow keeps falling
by morning all will be white
I hope winter has not come to stay
as I love the warmth
of a fall day
