My mind becomes awash
with the probability,
the possibility
of a chance
to brush my lips
across your sweetest lips,
as I simply go blank.
It is you that I must thank.
No words could ever compare
to this feeling
no matter where
I am,
or where
I want to be.
Within this notion
of self-same emotion
I have this devotion
that I am truly set free.
This time I want
to make it all mine
and show you how I care
with all of these words that I share
in this way, today.
I share and impart
these words of my heart
as was true from the start.
My feelings are true, too.
