YOU and ME by James Edwardssitting here as it seems
with the light breeze which rubs
on my shoulder and onto my now closed eyes
as i sing along the quaint words of wonderwall
what you write transforms
into moving images which
trespass passes, amalgamate
the blocks into forming a
lustrous flow like the mercury which breaks
think of caffeine and i sip into my moulting tea
the cookie wait in soggy exhaustion
wanting to be gulped mixing and
lining the inners
theres you and theres me
and then theres we
what we do now
as these words form and disform and
and...
and..
my mind trickles into the breeze out and
i see that the times up much pretty
as she as they as all of us here
sleep
i manage to shake off
some to despair some to repair
some to try and some into an ode to piety 09/07/2009 Posted on 09/07/2009 Copyright © 2025 James Edwards
