write me by Charlie Morganwrite me a love letter;
doesn't have to be long.
just let me know, that,
in your eyes i gleam;
hurt me, don't hate me:
a motto silently hailed.
when i push you away,
i want you close-by;
some of us talk that way.
that means this, this that.
so love me, my feathers,
my plummage, my lice.
help me with this twig.
a foundation of my nest;
then i can laze my neck
to all below and sigh.

| Posted by A. Paige White on 08/20/09 at 03:14 PM Wow, I get the chance to be first to answer this beautiful plea, written as only you could.
I love you Chaz!
You are so Pathetic, empathetic, that is. ~;-> |
| Posted by Alison McKenzie on 08/20/09 at 07:10 PM Dear Charlie....I have one of your feathers on my nightstand. It touches me gently, like you do in your poetry sometimes....It shines in the light, glows in the dark, and whispers to me of time sweet and endless. You put my twig in your nest a looooong time ago...and I have one of yours in mine..Love, Ali. |
