I find it strange that
My only constellations
Are spaces between the stars.

i think that qualifies as 'seeing what can be' instead of only 'seeing what is' - looking the surface of things, yes. Nice point of view me thinks.

I've said for the longest time, though I doubt I really grasp the entire truth of it...it's all in the space inbetween.

what is in-between makes way for balance and clarity and being able to "see to see". lovely poem.
