All of life is just a circle

by Maria Kintner

All lies you tell
Fall like leaves in Autumn
And die under foot.

08/10/2009

Author's Note: Sometimes, I think I like driving down the same tired streets of my past to remember what it feels like to hurt because of something different. But this is the last time I go there. And only warrants a haiku.

At least you're not going there anymore.

Which was not a comment on the haiku itself. It only occurred to me afterward that the comment could possibly be taken as dismissive of the writing. It's not.
