Radiant Perfection (I Wish to Bring You)

by Alison McKenzie

At long last
I feel the blending of realities,
The bleeding of those blessings
Sliding into this life,
The veil of valor pierced
And radiating into suns.
Stepping out of limits
Freedom of thought and choice abounding…

A radiant perfection,
The twirling of dervishes
Finds my joyful heart
Incites me to dance;
My being can only respond
By gliding into the rhythm.

Come with me now,
I wish to bring you.

The twirling of dervishes is just plain fun to say. On top of that, the rest of this is just plain excellent writing. I don't know if you've ever heard the song (which sounds more like the reading of a poem) Melodies & Desires by Lykke Li, but this reminds me a bit of it. You should check it out!
