Seeds

by Joe Cramer

These seeds of doubt lie where they are planted,
Sown so carlessly about, all around.
They bring forth no fruit, nothing to be gained.
I need more in this life, this I have found.
I wonder now, what it is I should do
To tell you of what I am now feeling.
These feelings flow, heavy on my mind.
Leave me breathless, my senses reeling.
I know not what I should say, say to you.
How much to share, how much to show I care.
I long to share these feelings, so very true,
But what now to say, to say anywhere?
Seeds of doubt now plague my weariest mind.
I must be true to myself, this I find.

Joe, this has such a smooth flow, and don't you know it is such a natural emotion we have all felt and you have expressed it so well. Sometimes, it can distort into a monster if we let it. Don't let it, Joe.
