dead weight by Lauren Singerwhat does it mean to you
that i am awake now,
wondering where you are?
the dim-eyed recognition
of your "sorry, but you know me" line
is getting old,
and i'm thinking all sorts of terrible things.
the voice tells me to run from you,
and find some other place to cling to
but i just can't swallow a second
without thinking of your hands. 08/08/2009 Posted on 08/08/2009 Copyright © 2024 Lauren Singer
