One of a kind (original)

by Keith D Allison

that tempest
she said I'd remember
her lips touched mine
eighteen thousand two hundred and fifty days ago
give or take a breath or so

She walked another trail
so long ago
All Just another
unimportant
Matter

but I remember
that tempest of time

So I'll tip my hat
too that girl
she made my heart fluttered
she was that sweet chaos to the mind

she brought a new fire
to melody
putting the song
to life… guitar

Oh
The songs and the glory
that could be written to
life first kiss
especially the one
that awakens the heart

she was
one of a kind
she led me down that road
where the heart does flutter
the sweetness
still dances
on the sky's
with stars of remembrance

she brought a new fire
to melody
putting the song
to life… guitar

What a great scene setter, from the first stanzs, "eighteen thousand two hundred and fifty days ago/give or take a breath or so", wow, and later near the close this expanse of love is measured again, "on the skies/with stars of remembrance." Just beautiful, Keith. Thanks.
