Such a cacophony plays on, in my mind,
And in my heart of hearts. It starts,
Then stops, leaving me far behind
And my head reels, hurts, it smarts.
So much betrayal, so much feigned love, lust,
My heart dwells in this demonic city.
I must succumb to it eventually, if I must.
Such is life, such is living, such a pity.
