open the window, let in the night

by Cassandra Leigh

cut me loose!
the sound of your voice is drowning me
i'm on the ground and not here.
the end of the summer wells up in my throat and
i tilt my head back
it escapes in a closing of the eyes, curving of the lips,
curling of the toes, arching of the back
we smile
the delta of our raging arteries
alluvial field of searing venom
equal parts everyoung and everclear.
kiss me like that again and i'm ruined.

Interesting, and I think if you could work a little more on this could be a real good one. Good write though as it stands.
