You know you're a poet when.....

Perhaps everything you see is in verse,
Or life has become metrical.
Everything has a rhyme,
Trying to make sense of life.
Realizing that things could be better and worse.
You feel words, down to the bone
If there could be nothing else.
So many words to pen
Lining the pages of your life.
I have always fely thusly
Finally accepting the truth.
Everything is poetry to me.
