i can't get the thought out of my mind.


i squeeze my brain like an orange,
trying to make a useless glass of juice to pour
down the drain. i
drill holes, try and let it seep out, or
stick a tiny spoon to try and scoop
it all out but it's
useless.

it gnaws,
eating up the rest of my brain matter
settling down a dark, moist home inside my head,
growing, having children, sending them off to school,
all on the taxpayers' burden.

i can't get the thought out of my mind,
and some day, it might just kill me.
