So Far From Few

by Joe Cramer

You smile while I tell you of new verse,
I wax poetic once again, it becomes worse.
Never keeping up with the poems I pen to you.
They multiply expontentially, so far from few.
I love to read to you, to see the smile on your face
A memory I keep, time does not erase.
So onward to you I write, my succulent sweet,
Your beautiful countenance makes my living complete.

Great poem. I also write for the joy/memories it brings to others.
