Well if ya recollect Ah now have me a garage mate.
A cute lil' red Mustang named Sally.
Momma's reward fer lettin' Cy finish me,
an' Ah hope he's keepin' a talley.

Well here we are agin an' Ah'm tellin' ya it ain't been easy
livin' with tha' crazy woman an' tryin' ta stay sane.
She drinks mah radiator water an' complains
tha' it's beer an' ain't pink champagne.

So after a lil' overtime, OK a lot a overtime,
Cy has enuf money fer mah paint an' interior.
Hopin' when Ah get back from that
Ah won't be treated so inferior.

At last tha day came when Cy pulls tha truck 'round
an' drove me up onta tha trailer at a real slow crawl.
An' away we went ta tha paint an' interior shop.
Leavin' behind tha uppity Saly asleep in her stall.

Finally mah paint an' interior wuz dun.
Ah ain't grey no more. What color is mah outsides?
Well Duh! Red a 'course. But not jest red like Sally,
Red with fancy squiggly doo-dads down mah sides.

An' mah insides is a nice warm grey (Ah know),
an' so soft ta sit on, no more bucket fer Will,
an' tha same purty music tha' plays in tha garage,
plays from mah rear bumper ta mah radiator grill.

When Cy takes me home, wuz Ah in fer a surprize.
While Ah wuz away gettin' all spruced up,
Cy wuz buzy spendin' more money on shiny do-dads
fer mah motor. Some Ah don' even know tha name of.

Layin' on tha workbench wuz shiny pipes an' valve covers,
an' a air cleaner an' a radiator cover, Ah could go on an' on.
Why some a mah wires r even gonna be chrome.
Sally wakes up n Ah tol' her, "Go back ta yer nappin'. Cy ain't dun."

Well, when Cy an' his buddies got dun puttin' them
shiny do-dads on mah motor, Ah wuz a sight an' how!
Even Sally's headlights lit up, an' she's a shakin'.
Ah catch her starin' an' say. "Hey Baby, How da ya like me now?"

Cy went n got Momma an' me an' Sally went fer a drive.
We cruised down Noland Road an' got some stares,
then we stops at Clems fer a tenderloin an' fries
an' shocked all tha guys tha' wuz there.

After all tha 'xcitement they brings us home
parks us in tha garage an' Cy stops ta say,
"Enough excitement for now old boy,
cause tomorrow is going to be a busy day."
